Intro
This kids' blanket is out of this world. Wrap up your little space explorer in love, and their own personal (and personalised) rocket.

This blanket is made up of mostly beginner friendly stitches, but does have tricky colour changes. It will be a quick and easy make for intermediate and advanced makers.

Due to the double stranded yarn, this blanket has a lovely, almost weighted blanket feel to it. The double strands lend themselves to this blanket doubling as a play-mat for supervised play with a young baby and then as a snuggle blanket for the subsequent years. Although smaller than the original it is still very generous in size.

For the purpose of this blanket, odd rows will be right side and even will be wrong side, but these are just guidelines and there isnt much difference either way.
