The pattern is perfect for beginners! The following techniques are used: half double crochet, slip stitch (to attach panels), half double increase and decrease. Progress pictures have been added in to help you on your way.
This bag is made up of two panels with straps (front and back) and a big bow consisting of two parts. It can be worn as a handbag, shoulder bag or purse.
Materials needed
- Yarn: weight 5 / bulky / chunky: 160 g, approx. 185 m (I used Katia Alaska)
- A 6mm crochet hook
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle
- Optional: stitch markers
