Description
This is the perfect pouch project for an adventurous beginner, a crocheter in need of a stashbuster project, or even if you're giving someone a gift and want to make reusable packaging for it.
This pouch is made using half double crochet stitches in the back/front loops to create the ribbed texture. It is constructed from the bottom up and worked in the round until you start crocheting the flap. The only bit of sewing that you need to know is how to sew the button to the pouch.
I bought the button I used in the photo a long time ago; I don't remember from where. Any button with a diameter of 1" (25mm is what you look for in Canada) would work though.
