Giraffes are native to Africa, they are the tallest land animal on earth today! Adult giraffes are 14-18 feet tall! Okapi are the closest living relative of the giraffe. Though there are 4 distinct species of giraffe, however, there are 9 subspecies of giraffe. All giraffes have their own unique spot patterns! Much like peoples finger prints. Both male and female giraffes have "horns" called "ossicones" unlike true hornes ossicones are made up of of bony cartilage, covered in skin and fur. In African culture, the giraffe signifies foresight, wisdom, and quiet gentleness. Often representing a link of earth to sky, or the spiritual realm due to their height.

Intermediate difficulty level.
You will need to have an understanding of basic crochet stitches, color changes, as well as be able to work with small parts.
