Description
This monstera leaf can be used as a coaster or for various home decor crafts. I made a small pot to hold my leaves and I use this pattern as a coaster. It is a basic free pattern that can be applied to larger patterns as well. There is a lot of room for creativity.

I used two threads of Aunt Lydia's crochet thread, but you can use any hook/yarn combo. However, it is necessary to use a hook that is smaller than required for the yarn of choice so that the leaf will remain sturdy and flat.

Perfect for beginners and easy to make! This pattern can be completed in under an hour of crocheting. It is also good for learning how to turn your work in a way that is not in linear lines. I use a diagram as well as clear instructions to illustrate this technique.

Stitches used:
- slip stitch
- single crochet
- half double crochet
- double crochet
- chain

Happy crocheting :)
