The mock-up and images used are with Lion Brand Pound Of Love worsted acrylic yarn in the color "Soft Pink" and the mesh color is fingering size 1 yarn (unknown brand).

I used a size 6.00mm hook for both moss and mesh sections, keeping loose tension.

The sweater is worked in two identical front and back panels, sewn together to form a neck space, then sleeves crocheted directly on, then sewn closed from wrist to armpit to waist. Edging is added last.

It is fun to use very different yarn weights for the moss rows and the mesh rows. If you choose to use different weights, the thinner yarn should be the mesh section.

There is very light math required.

If you would like more of a cropped sweater, do fewer rows on the front/back panels. If you would like a full length top, work more rows.

This piece is meant to be wide and baggy and loose: a 3/4 length sleeve with some puffiness and looseness in the arms.
