NO WIRE NEEDED the pose is all in the shaping, so it's sturdy and elegant, with the movement of a rearing horse captured in a crochet statue!

This pattern is great for crocheters with some experience, especially if you enjoy Sculpture shapes and bringing a sense of movement into your makes. You can go full fantasy with the moth wings, or keep it simple and turn it into a regular horse or even a butterfly-horse hybrid just swap the colors or skip the wings.
