Description
This is a grid based on the Michigan State University marching band. Their logo which is on their uniforms is this MSU "shield" pattern. I made 2 of these and made it into a tote bag. The grid is 50x50 and each panel came out to about 14x14 inches for me using a 4mm hook and wool yarn. I used wool so the gauge may be different with other materials like acrylic.
This pattern includes just the grid for this design! I don't have stitch by stitch instructions on making it into a bag. I put the general instructions for how I made the one in the photo but it's not comprehensive.
I do not have instructions for how to use a crochet grid . If you have not done tapestry crochet before, I recommend watching a youtube video and practicing with a small grid first. I personally learned through this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qV2HD1Hzz8c
