Description
I created this simple mitten pattern to work well with self-striping yarn, but it would make a nice base for fair isle patterns, too!
Supplies:
2 balls Lion Brand Amazing Yarn (53% wool, 47% acrylic; medium weight; 147 yd/135 m per ball, shown here in Aurora colorway)
Four US 5 double-pointed needles (or size needed to obtain gauge)
Ruler or tape measure
Stitch markers
Stitch holder or scrap yarn
Weaving needle
Abbreviations:
CO - cast on
BO - bind off
k - knit
p - purl
st(s) - stitch(es)
sl - slip
rnd - round
x - times
kfb - knit front and back
pm - place marker
k2tog - knit two together decrease
ssk - slip, slip, knit decrease
dpn(s) - double-pointed needle(s)
