Description
Niamh cardigan builds on the classic oversized cardigan silhouette - adding a scalloped edge and grid pattern. On top of this, it also provides the perfect canvas for personalisation through duplicate stitching.
This cardigan is designed to have at least 6" of ease at the bust, which means the finished garment will be at least 6" larger than your actual bust measurement.
Techniques: Cable cast on, picking up stitches along horizontal and vertical edge, M1L, M1R, K2tog, working in rounds, 2x2 rib, mattress seam, scallop edge bind off
Sample is made with Drops Soft Tweed from Drops yarn (50g/130m). DK or worsted weight yarn is suggested for this project.
Language: This pattern is written in English
Pattern includes detailed instructions, process pictures and diagrams on how to make the Niamh Cardigan. Also includes a gallery that showcases versions of the Niamh Cardigan made by my testers and I!
