I have been searching everyone for a proportionate axolotl pattern that is really small, using size 6 yarn. Most of them just use size 5 yarn, or shorten the body a ton. I definitely took inspiration from existing axolotl patterns, but I was not able to find one the size that pI wanted, so I made one. This pattern is super fast and easy and market prep friendly. This is a no see pattern and works in a continuous round. I have made this pattern using both Sweet snuggle lite and Bernat Blanket yarn. You can definitely try using a size 5 yarn if you want this guy even smaller, or a size 7 for a more medium axolotl.
