Description
Hello and thank you for looking at my pattern for Nollaig the cuddly Gnome!
In these written instructions and photo tutorial, I show you how to crochet this snuggly fella.
Please note, that this pattern is specifically written for chenille/velour/velvet/plush yarn.
I hope you'll enjoy crocheting him as much as I did.
Size
The gnome will be about 18" tall, including hat and about 10" wide.
If you would like him to be larger or smaller, you can use a different yarn weight
(as long as it is chenille yarn) and adjust the hook size accordingly.
Construction
The body and head are crocheted in one piece. The arms are crocheted on.
The feet and nose are sewn on. The hat can be removed.
Special techniques
For this project, you will need the loop stitch. It is explained in this pattern with written instructions and step-by-step photos.
