This is the perfect jumper dress for a festival, a fresh autumn afternoon or snuggling up on the sofa. Due to it being made with chunky yarn its thick, cosy and it works up super fast!

This is a beginner friendly pattern, but you will need to know basic knowledge of crochet and some terminology. The pattern is written in US terminology, however you can swap this to UK through Ribblr. I estimate that this took me roughly 2 days to complete.

Have fun! I can't wait to see what you make :) <3

Yarns
If you are using your yarn stash and you find you have some colours you like but they aren‘t a chunky weight, you can double up your DK yarn :) - that‘s what I did with quite a few of my shades and this way it saves you buying new yarn!

Using DK yarn will also go further than a 100g ball of chunky as it has more meterage!
As this pattern is customisable to your body and preferred fit the amount of yarn needed is difficult to accurately estimate.

I used scrap and stash yarn for my jumper dress so I just made it with whatever I had (sometimes that‘s the best way because you end up putting colours together that you might not of thought of!)

However here is a guide so you can estimate how much yarn you will need:

In total I used roughly 8 100g balls of chunky yarn across 14 different colours. I am a UK size 8 but wear my Norah jumper dress oversized!

Yarn usage estimates in rounds on front and back panel squares:
Round 1 (centre of gs): 2.5m
Round 10: 25.5m/19g
Round 20: 50.5m/37g
Round 30: 75.5m/55g
40th round would use 100.5m/73g and so on...

My front and back panel squares are 22 rounds and 64cm wide, with the largest round using approx 55.5m/41g yarn.
My sleeves use approx 11.5m/8.5g of yarn per row and 21 rows long.
(smaller jumpers will use less yarn and bigger jumpers will use more yarn)

For the lesser used colours I used roughly 1/3 - 1/2 of a 100g ball.
For the most used colours (3 of them) I used the whole 100g ball and and in some shades a little over 100g as I was using it for the neckline and joins.
