Wolle Rödel Mille Fili [100% cotton; 50g (1.8oz), 120m (131yds)]. Or any other yarn you like. The pattern doesn‘t specify a particular yarn - you can use any yarn you like! However, I don‘t recommend using yarn thicker than DK. Otherwise, the belt may end up too thick to tie a nice knot or bow.

The amount of yarn you use depends on your size and the layer you are working in. For size M I used about 5-6 skeins of Mille Fili from Wolle Rödel.
