Description
This absolutely adorable pie slice bookmark pattern gives a yummy look to your reading!
The pie slices are all worked flat and then the pieces are stitched together, and then a chain string and tassel are added to make it a bookmark.
There is no gauge to this pattern, but the finished pie slice is about 1 inch tall and the string is about 10 inches long. The string size is entirely customizable, so you can make it as long or short as you want.
This pattern requires knowledge of magic loops, chaining, and single crochet. It is worked flat, not in continuous rounds like my other bookmark patterns. It is beginner-friendly, but working with crochet thread and small hooks can be difficult for beginners, so keep that in mind if you're new to using crochet thread.
You'll need a 2mm crochet hook, about 12 yards of tan size 10 crochet thread, and 15 yards of size 10 crochet thread in the filling color. You'll also need a needle (I use a sharp embroidery needle, not a yarn needle) to weave the ends in, poly-fil or other stuffing to fill the pie slice, and scissors.
Feel free to sell finished items made with this pattern as long as you credit me as the designer and link back to my shop :)
