Description
This cuddly platypus amigurumi, Pluto the Platypus, is a variation of my original Phyllis the Platypus crochet design. The big difference is that this is an easy level crochet pattern, is quicker to crochet, and the end result is a lot bigger and cuddlier.
This pattern uses a chunky chenille yarn instead of cotton dk. As a quick summary on the difficulty rating, this platypus plushie does require being able to crochet in the round by starting with a magic circle or by crocheting a chain and working around the chain. As long as you are comfortable crocheting in the round, you should be able to crochet this platypus amigurumi.
The pattern is also available for free on my blog at www.cillacrochets.com if you don't mind the website ads. However, this Ribblr version does include more photos.
Happy crocheting!
