This slimy striped hat is reminiscent of Halloween, toxic waste and Oogie Boogie. It is sure to turn a few heads and get a few wide eyed looks.

The feel of it is cozy, loosely fitted and the tip falls while keeping its shape because of the tighter stitches.

This hat is worked in a round, so it is very beginner friendly. You don't even need to cut yarn until the very end, just work over your tails and switch colors as you go! Disclaimer though, the color change is not seamless. It doesn't show when worn as the hat folds over itself, but if that bothers you you can do an invisible slip stitch and invisible start at the end of each round and count that start as a stitch.

I'm using Scheepjes Chunky Monkey antipilling premium acrylic, it is Aran weight and it is very plump, but make sure to adjust hook size accordingly, you just need to measure your head and stop when you reach the right size if you use a different yarn. I used 1 ball of each, which are 116m.
