Description
This came about as a special request.
A friend of mine had kept a vintage crocheted "pooping duck" that her Grandmother had made for all her grandkids when they were young.
As a young mom herself now, her kids all loved the duck. She asked if I would be able to recreate something like it - and this is what came about. With some online searches, it seems this was quite the crochet craze decades ago and lots of people were in search of a pattern to recreate their nostalgic memories from childhood. So I modernized it, and now my own kids are obsessed. My 7-year-old and 10-year-old couldn't stop giggling, and "pooping" the jelly beans into the hands of anyone willing to take one.
At my daughter's request, I came up with "a bunny friend" for the pooping duck.
Make them as an added treat in Easter baskets, or just for fun. Kids of all ages
will love them!
