The Puppy Pawprint Blanket is made up of plain solid granny squares and motif squares throughout the body, joined using crochet stitches. The border is made up of 8 rounds using mostly moss stitch with reverse crochet for the edging. I've used Stylecraft Special Aran for this blanket, but it's a great stash busting project.

The pattern is clear to follow with detailed instructions and lots of pictures to help you make your blanket. Skill Level: Intermediate - a variety of stitches to make up the blanket and border, as well as colour changes - I've included full chart and written/picture instructions for the squares, as well as pictures for joining and each round of the border. There are stitch descriptions for less common stitches.

I've made the Puppy Pawprint Blanket using Aran/worsted weight yarn and a 5mm (H) crochet hook, with a 5.5mm (I) hook for the border. The finished size is 42" x 32".
