Description
*Meet Queenie! She's a koala with a lot of love to give... Queenie spends her time sewing clothes and toys for her friends, but her favourite thing to do is have people over for dinner - her eucalyptus ice cream is always a big hit in the summer! One day, she hopes to open a clothing library, where the members of her community can borrow shirts, dresses, or any other garments they need.*
Make this cute koala and the heart it's holding by following this text-based pattern. This is a Ribblr e-pattern. If you prefer a PDF, it's available on my Ko-Fi shop.
The pattern uses US terminology. You can use any yarn and size the hook up/down as appropriate, but we suggest the following for a toy that is approximately 13cm tall.
- around 40g DK yarn in ash grey
- around 10g DK yarn in coral pink
- a small amount of 4ply/fingering weight yarn in cream or off-white
- a scrap amount of 4ply/ fingering weight yarn in charcoal grey
In addition, you will need:
- 3.5 mm crochet hook (US E/4, UK 9)
- 2.75mm crochet hook (US C/2, UK 12)
- 6mm safety eyes
- pins, scissors, tapestry needle, stuffing.
