This makes the perfect Christmas, baby shower, or birthday gift for anyone who LOVES unicorns just like my youngest Bella!

The blanket is made using c2c and it is a lot of fun to work up! Anybody who loves unicorns (like my youngest) would love this as a gift. It works up quickly! It is an intermediate pattern.

This unicorn security blanket would make an excellent addition to craft fair inventory for this holiday season as well.


Special note: If you are giving this cute to a child under 3, please embroider the eyes instead of using safety eyes for safety reasons.

All of my patterns feature the same consistent layout which is easy to read and understand in US American terms. It is easy to find all the information you need to make this project. It lists materials, gauge, size, pattern key, any special stitches, notes, and then the pattern instructions and assembly.

When you are finished, your cute unicorn security blanket should measure approximately 13" x 13.5" x 6".

SC - Single Crochet
Sc2tog - Single Crochet decrease
Sl st - slip stitch
FO - Finish Off
St(s) - Stitch/stitches
Ch - Chain
Rnd(s) - Round/Rounds
BLO - back loop only
RS - Right Side



Notes:
Read through the entire pattern first.
Blanket is a C2C pattern using J/6.0 mm hook.
The head, ears, and horn are worked in continuous rounds using the G/4.0 mm hook. Do not join while making each of them. Use stitch markers to know where your first stitch in the round is.
Beginning chain 3 does count as a stitch throughout the pattern
Beginning chain 1 does not count as a stitch throughout pattern.
Sl St does not count as a stitch throughout the pattern.
Repeat stitches between * and * around.
When changing colors, do so in the last stitch.
