This crochet pattern will guide you to crochet a groovy retro telephone tissue box cover as shown in pictures, made using soft acrylic yarn (DK / 8 ply) and crochet hook E (3.5 mm).
Finished size will be approx. (l x w x h) 9.8" x 5.5" x 7.4" . Parts in this pattern, will be worked in continuous rounds, as well as in rows.

The cover can also be made using wool or cotton yarn, as long as it's suitable for crochet hook E (3.5 mm). The telephone in the pictures was made using Stylecraft Special DK.
There are 2 openings; 1 at the bottom to insert a box of tissues, and 1 at the top to pull the tissues out.

Skill Level: Intermediate (for crocheting, as well as for pinning/sewing parts together).

Approx. Gauge: Before you start, you may need to check your gauge. This is important for fitting the cover over the tissue box.
For continuous rounds: 5 sc = 1" x 5 rounds = 0,8"
For rows: 5 sc = 0,8", 5 rows = 0,8".

Materials used:
- Crochet hook size E (3.5 mm)
- Yarn; yellow (approx. 200 gram, 644 yds, 588 m), white (approx. 25 gram, 80 yds, 75 m), small amounts light grey and black yarn
- Square tissue box (for example a Kleenex, size: 4.33" x 3.94" x 4.72" (l x w x h))
- 1 black button diameter 0.8", fiberfill stuffing
- 1 sheet 7 mesh plastic canvas approx. 13.4" x 10.3"
- Stitch marker, tapestry needle, pins, optional: black sewing thread
- Optional: adhesive numbers or thread to embroider numbers

Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, single crochet, magic circle, increasing, decreasing
