Description
This is the pattern for a ribbed style crochet baby hat. It is worked in rows and uses slip stitch into the back loops and single crochet into the back loops.
For Newborn:
Use a 3.5mm hook
*if you're a tight crocheter please check measurements and adjust hook size if required*
Beginning chain should be 6 inches plus the size of the turnup you desire
Crochet in rows until it reaches 13 inches
For Newborn up to 3 months:
Use a 4mm or 4.5mm hook, again depending if you're a tight crocheter, you may need to adjust hook size
Beginning chain should be 7 inches plus the size of the turnup you desire
Crochet in rows until it reaches 14 inches
**NOTE**
To create the rib effect, you will be working in rows and work in the back loops only.
