Crochet Ribbed n' Ruffled Gift Bag Pattern

Make an easy gift bag for the holidays with this free pattern! A ribbed body to provide extra stretch for those bigger gifts, and a ruffled top for a pretty touch. <3

I started making some gift bags for Christmas, and came up with this quick pattern, it only takes about an hour to make. The bag measures approximately 7" wide, 9" tall *(7" tall excluding the ruffles). The ribbing texture allows the bag to expand a bit more and fit more than using a regular stitch. This pattern can be easily adjusted to make different sizes or use different size yarns!

I am a left-handed crocheter, so the pictures provided will look mirrored for those who are right handed. The written instructions work well for both left and right-handed crocheters.

Materials
- 6mm hook
- Weight 4 yarn
- Another weight yarn (1-3)
- Needle

- Chain (Ch)
- Half-double crochet (hdc)
- Double crochet (dc)
- Triple crochet (tr)
