With his ear-tufts, red coat and bushy tail, there's no mistaking Rusty's a Red Squirrel, Scotland's only native squirrel. He's a fun wee knit with the added bonus of getting to make pom poms for his tail.

The following techniques are used for shaping:- purling 2 stitches together (p2tog), purling one stitch into the front leg of the next stitch and then purling another stitch into the back leg of the same stitch (pfb), and finally working short rows using wrap and turn (w&t).
