Description
Holiday traditions are fantastic and something I hold near to my heart! Ever since I was a little girl, every Christmas eve, I've watched Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Christmas wasn't here until I watched this 1964 classic narrated by Burl Ives. A reason I feel so attached to this movie is due to the island of misfit toys and the underdog (Rudolph), finally being seen as someone beautiful and accepted. I'm a misfit, so I relate wholeheartedly to the tale!
Cozy up, grab some apple cider, get your Rudolph on, and knit yourself some of these cable and eyelet adorned socks!
Worked in the round, Santa’s Little Helpers contains both cuff-down and toe-up written directions and a chart for the pattern stitch. The pattern has instructions for an afterthought heel, but you may substitute whatever heel you enjoy using.
The pattern is written for the magic loop method for knitting socks; however, the design could be worked on double-pointed needles or mini-circulars instead should you prefer.
