Description
Make Dad a scarf he'll actually wear! Scotch and Soda is a single malt scarf with cabled bubbles, a great introduction to cable knitting. Ribbing at the edges keeps the fabric from curling.
Bonus points for a symmetrical fabric so you can knit it seamlessly end to end in one long rectangle and the sides will mirror each other when the scarf is worn.
Scarf pictured here is knit in aran weight alpaca blend yarn, but the cabled bubbles look amazing in any yarn, even chunky. It's so quick to finish, you'll have time to make one for yourself, too!
