The pattern is dedicated to my grandmother. She is the best person in the whole world and sunflowers were her absolute favorite. She was sassy, stubborn and so strong. She helped raise me and I am going to miss her forever. I wanted everyone to have a little piece of her sunshine. She was joy with a touch of spice. She loved my crochet. Her mother crocheted as I do so I hope this makes her proud. she deserved so much more in this life. She deserves this honor and dedication. I can only hope to see her again someday. I love you grandma.
