Description
The Shoulder Shift Dress is an easy beginner crochet garment or meditative project for any skill level. It can be worn loosely off one shoulder or adorned to be a one sleeve dress. Its versatile qualities allow you to go from lounging in the house to celebrating at dinner parties.
Pattern is worked flat in rows Rows make circumference & stitches make length . After rectangular fabric is created, it's seamed to create armholes. It's designed with 10" of positive ease for a loose fit. Amount of positive ease will depend on where you fall within the size range: model is 5'3" with 34" bust, wearing size S. The suggested fiber plays a large role in the design. It offers incredible drape and will grow in blocking and with wear. Both sides of fabric are the same, so you can choose your favorite side to be the right side. Wrong side is only referenced for seaming.
Use your preferred seaming method. Sample uses slip stitch on the wrong side technique. To customize body length, add or subtract 4 initial foundation stitches for every inch desired. To customize width, add or subtract 4 rows for every inch desired.
