A simple classic style baby beanie knitting pattern.

The little hat is quick and easy to knit, in sizes Newborn to 12 months old.

This would be ideal as a hospital hat, or coming home hat for your newborn, and a simple classic hat to knit up quickly, as your baby grows.

You can knit it in plain yarn, or a self striping yarn, keep it simple, or add a pom pom.


Notes: This pattern is knit flat. I usually knit using a circular needle, as I find it faster, but I knit back and forth, not in the round, so you can use either circular needles or straight needles and do the same.

ABBREVIATIONS:
K= Knit / P= Purl / K2tog = knit 2 stitches together
