I was having trouble finding a small basket/nest pattern that I liked. I made this one for a small/mini dashboard "pet" named Ducklas (a small duck). I wanted something that would hold him upright or could be attached to Velcro or stickies and not ruin the duck itself. Thus, the 'small nest' was born.

This is a very beginner friendly pattern worked in the round. It's also not meant to be a perfect circle, so the bottom won't be perfectly round.

Gauge is not important.

The duck is not included in the pattern.
