Description
Smores are Curt’s absolute favorite treat, so I end up baking a ton of smores inspired treats. When he saw Gingersnap’s Spark colorway arrive in the mail, he reminisced over time spent up at the cabin, enjoying them warm and gooey over the campfire as a kid. To honor those beautiful memories, I wanted to create a feet treat that would call up that heartfelt past that he could wear year-round.
Worked in the round, Smores on the Campfire contains both cuff-down and toe-up written directions and a chart for the pattern stitch. The pattern has instructions for an afterthought heel, but you may substitute whatever heel you enjoy using.
The pattern is written for the magic loop method for knitting socks; however, the design could be worked on double-pointed needles or mini-circulars instead should you prefer.
