This pattern is made-to-measure, which means that it can be made to any size/measurements. This pattern has been tested in a variety of sizes; though it involves a lot of measurements and calculations, confident/advanced beginners will be able to complete it.

This pattern is written in English using US terminology with UK translation via Ribblr. It includes step-by-step instructions and images.

Materials:
5mm crochet hook
900-1600 yards of worsted/aran/size 4 yarn (depends on size; after you calculate your measurements, you'll know the exact amount you'll need)
Scissors
Tapestry needle
Stitch markers
Measuring tape

You'll know how much yarn you'll need after Determining Your Size. Be aware that the pants can become very heavy because of the sheer amount of yarn used; don't use cotton (a heavy fiber) to make these! I've used acrylics like Red Heart Super Saver and Big Twist Value to make mine.
