The Sophia Socks are inspired by the legendary Sophia Petrillo of the Golden Girls. I always loved her sharp wit and oneliners. She always wore the sweetest ace and cable sweaters that were simple and the texture reminds me of her wicker handbag she always carried.

These sock are perfect for a beginner sock knitter. The easy cables lace and texture run down the side of each sock while the rest is simple stockinette. The Pattern is simple but entertaining enough to keep you from putting it down. This is the perfect pattern for vanilla sock knitters who want alittle extra to knit..

The socks are knit cuff down with instructions for a Slip Sitch Heel, but you can easily substitute your favorite heel method. The pattern is written for magic loop but I included on how to use 9" circulars and DPNS.
