Description
Cute and colourful little trinket dish in the shape of a star. Quick and easy to make with no sewing. Great gift idea, or treat yourself for somewhere to keep all those little bits and pieces! Perfect for jewellery, keys and other small items. You will need between 2 and 5 colours (pattern shows 3 colours)- make as many different colour combinations as you like!

Suitable for intermediate crocheters or advanced beginners, with detailed instructions and lots of pictures to keep you on the right track.

You can use any yarn you like, but be aware that this will affect the size of your trinket dish and also the stiffness. I used 4 ply mercerised cotton yarn and a 2mm hook and my trinket dish is 3.5 inches across and keeps it's shape well. You could use macrame cord for an even stiffer texture. Another tip is to use a slightly smaller hook than recommended for your yarn to keep your stitches tight.

Happy crocheting!
