This absolutely adorable strawberry bookmark pattern adds a cute, summer-y feel to your reading!

The strawberry is made like an amigurumi, and then a chain string and tassel are added to make it a bookmark.

There is no gauge to this pattern, but the finished strawberry is about 1 inch long and the string is about 10 inches long. The string size is entirely customizable, so you can make it as long or short as you want.

This pattern requires knowledge of magic loops, chaining, slip stitches, and single crochet stitches. It is worked in continuous rounds. It is beginner-friendly, but working with crochet thread and small hooks can be difficult for beginners, so keep that in mind if you're new to using crochet thread.

You'll need a 2mm crochet hook and about 10 yards of red size 10 crochet thread, 3 yards of green size 10 crochet thread, and 1 yard of yellow size 10 crochet thread. You'll also need a needle (I use a sharp embroidery needle, not a yarn needle) to sew the pieces together and stitch on the seeds, poly-fil or other stuffing to fill the strawberry, and scissors.
