Studio Sleeves

Crochet ePattern

Description
Cosy sleeves in three lengths (wrist, below elbow and above elbow) and with instructions for three different yarn weights (sock/4ply, DK and chunky).

The Studio Sleeves are a quick make and were designed with hand dyed sock sets in mind. As a crocheter, I wanted to use the beautifully dyed sets that independent yarn dyers make, but I didn't want to make socks.

Suitable for adventurous beginners who have mastered the basic stitches, and for crocheters looking for a quick, satisfying make for themselves or to gift. Techniques used include working in rows, working in rounds, seamless construction, a tiny amount of seaming (which can be sewn or crocheted), working in the third loop of half treble crochet stitches (or half double crochet, if you're using US terms).

Yarn requirements:
Sock yarn - sock set (50g-100g with 20g contrast) depending on sleeve length
DK - 40g-120g depending on sleeve length
Chunky - 70g-130g depending on sleeve length
