To make Summer Sky Cotton Shorts you will need: As these shorts are made-to-measure, you can use any yarn you have. I recommend a cotton based yarn to wear these in warm weather and not feel smothered under acrylic or wool. I used Walnut Tree Kind Cotton yarn (this yarn is categorised as DK, though I believe it is more of a sport weight yarn.. I used 3.5mm needles for full coverage stockinette). If you@qre using sport weight I recommend using 2 100g balls for a size S or M, and 3-4 100g balls for a size L-XXL., Two stitch markers, Elastic cord for the waist band. Tools required: 3.5mm circular needles worked for me with a sport weight yarn, though use the needles you need to make tight stockinette stitches with no revealing holes! You will need two cords - one will hold half of your stitches while you make each pant leg, Crochet hook or tapestry needle to attach the elastic cord to the waist band.
