Description
“Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit." Leviticus 26:4
As I designed this shawl, the NW United States were suffering a terrible drought and fires were abundant. If the Earth is thirsty where you are, or where the shawl is to be gifted, pray for the needed rain as you knit this project.
While this shawl was on my needles the Lord blessed our area with little sprinkles, showing me He was listening.
This shawl is knit tip to tip creating an asymmetrical shallow triangle that can be worn multiple ways. We start with the main color, and as the storm rolls through the rainbow will spread throughout the whole shawl, peaking out from under the rain (CCB), and the Storm cloud (CCA), to then shine bright at the promised future. The Pebble stitch compliments this color patterning making all the right colors pop and change as we tell the story of a beautiful summer storm.
