The Summer Stroll Pencil Skirt pattern is part of my lacey summer cover-up series.

This skirt design has a very elegant look and although it works beautifully as a casual summer skirt, it can also be easily worn in a more formal setting, such as an office.

The pencil skirt can be paired with a variety of summer tops such as T-shirts, cotton shirts, blouses, as well as jackets on cooler days.

This pattern is very easy to follow and uses a clever variation of DC stitch, which works up quickly and is easy to count. Plus this stitch gives the garment a beautifully textured and very accomplished-looking finish.

All you need to know to successfully complete this project are the basic crochet stitches: chain, slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet, treble crochet.
