Introduction:
This pattern is a beginner shawl. It is customizable in that you can make it as big as you like. You can also use a different yarn up to a DK. There is a set up section that you will see first. I will label them rows A-C to avoid confusion. After that I will start the rows off with #1. After you complete the setup section you will not go back to it in any repeats.
For your increases you can use any method you like. I like to knit to 1 sts before the marker, k1m1. After I slip a marker, I like to k1m1.
You always knit the first two stitches and the last two stitches. It is up to you if you want to use stitch markers to remind yourself of this. I prefer not to use them, but I have made this shawl several times.
Increases will always be on the right side rows.
