Description
The Sunflower Bucker Hat is my absolute favourite 'no-mistake' method of creating a bucket hat where to you can swap colours and add or take-away rows to fit your unique style.
This pattern was created for the Average female head circumference of 55cm (approx. 21.5 inches) or ONE-SIZE-FITS-ALL. But you can add or subtract rows - even weights of yarn to get your desired size.
MATERIALS:
- Sport Weight Yarn or #2 in accordance with the Craft Yarn Council's Standard Yarn Weight System - you will need about 4 - 5 colours. For reference, I used HOBBII 8/6 yarn
However, you can play around with yarn weights as you can add or subtract rows to achieve the desired size.
- 3mm Crochet Hook (or any that meets the gage of your tension - please stay between 2.75 - 3.5).
- Measuring tool
- Scissors
SKILL LEVEL:
Advanced Beginner or Intermediate - I will walk you through some more complex stitches for a beginner such as a 'cluster' or 'puff' stitch with step-by-step written instructions and pictures.
