This is redesign of the classic crochet ornament, the wind spinner, I experimented many ways of creating the structure and the increases to prevent it from frilling or getting curved. Each row has It's purpose on this project, combining different stitches allowed the spiral to get wider even with thinner yarns and also added interesting textures and possibilities for color work. I hope you have fun doing it!

There is a main version of 7 rows, and an alternative version that goes up to 9 rows, it was made to better suit different kinds of yarn, specially acrylic and the more stretchy ones. But the main version its awesome to use thicker and denser yarn, resulting in a sturdy structure.

There are some variables on this project, like spacing of the inicial cord, height of the stitches, tension and hook size, yarn type, youll have to keep that in mind and experiment to find the perfect fit for you.
