Description
Using predominantly Go For Faux, this is the ultimate cozy, luxe make. Separating with Hometown USA gives the illusion of puffs of fluffy texture. This Super Soft Coat makes for fashionable evening wear for a date or get together with friends for brunch.

It can be difficult to read stitches in Go For Faux, so you will want to make the exact swatch size of 8 sts x 12 rows in stockinette using Go For Faux = 4". To make your gauge swatch:
Row 1: long tail CO 8 sts.
Row 2: k all sts.
Row 3: p all sts.
Row 4-13: repeat rows 2-3.
Row 14: BO 8 sts.
This will make a 4" square, not counting the CO or BO rows. If your swatch is bigger than 4", use smaller needles. If your swatch is smaller than 4", use larger needles.

Amount of ease will depend on where you fall within the size range: model is 53 with 34" bust, wearing size S; therefore, giving her 10" of positive ease.

This coat is designed to have a large fit as a winter garment to wear over other garments; however, for in between sizes or if you prefer less ease, size down.

This coat is constructed from the top down: working the yoke first, then the body in rows, and sleeves in rounds, finishing with added collar.

Stitch markers designate areas to increase for two front panels, two sleeve sections and one back panel; however, that does NOT necessarily mean sleeve separation happens there.

Stitch count charts are provided for your reassurance.

All sleeve decreases take place in the garter sections (with Hometown) as p2tog.

Removable stitch markers are added during body to designate where to pick up stitches for sleeves later.

I suggest using extra needles or cord, aluminum pin or circular stitch holders versus scrap yarn when separating sleeves as stitches can get easily lost.

If you struggle with slippery stitches, I suggest using wood needles because it is difficult to see fur stitches and nearly impossible to salvage a dropped stitch. -To minimize amount of ends, use the magic knot (Russian knot) technique when joining Go for Faux skeins.
