Description
I was inspired to design this bag initially because of my love for the suzette stitch. It's such a simple stitch to create and the finished design is so textured and gorgeous. I knew I had to create something with the suzette stitch. I decided on a cute and easy bag. You can never have enough handmade bags and I wanted to add another to the list.
I came up with the name Susanna Lily because of suzette, the stitch I used for most of the bag. Suzette comes from the Hebrew name Susanna, and translates to Lily or Rose. I am a huge lover of flowers and nature, so it seemed idyllic to name the bag after one of my favourite crochet stitches as well as one of my favourite flowers.
