An adorable little soot sprite to keep you company! Create the soot sprites' dusty texture by holding an eyelash yarn double with worsted yarn.

The sprite's pipe cleaner legs will not be strong enough for it to stand on; rather, they help it to sit up straight without rolling over.

Author's note: I received my fuzzy yarn from a friend's grandmother who had long lost the label; I have absolutely no idea what the exact yarn is that I used. From some image searching, the yarn that I used looks most similar to Ice Yarns Long Eyelash yarn. Although this yarn is categorized as #6 Super Bulky, the yarn that I have is quite fine, which is why I opted to hold it double with a regular worsted yarn. If the eyelash/fuzzy yarn that you use is bigger and makes your project feel too tight to work in to the stitches, go ahead and size up your hook to 4.5 mm or 5 mm.
