I use Drops Eskimo / Snow (on most websites the recommended needle size for this wool is 9mm, however I find the tension is much nicer with 8mm needles).
You could use any other chunky yarn that requires 8mm needles.
You will need 6 (7, 7, 8, 8, 9 9, 10) 50g balls of Drops Eskimo /Snow.
