Description

This beginner-friendly Tunisian crochet pattern is worked using the Tunisian Honeycomb Stitch which is basically alternating Tunisian Simple Stitch and Tunisian Purl Stitch in a two-row repeat. After that, you add a one-round Herringbone Half Double Crochet border.

Yarn: Less than 20 yards/.50 oz Weight 4 100% cotton yarn for EACH coaster. I used Lily Sugar N Cream and Peaches & Cream. Use a contrasting color for the border, if desired.

Hook: Size 5.5mm Afghan hook; OR Tunisian interchangeable crochet hook with a cable; OR possibly a regular crochet hook (not ergonomic) with a rubber band wrapped around the end as a stopper so your stitches dont slip off.
