Description
This sweet ladybug amigurumi crochet pattern features two different sizes just by changing the hook size. It is an easy and fun pattern to crochet. There are a lot of parts to this pattern and I have included a photo tutorial throughout the pattern.
This lovely ladybug will help children have fun with their imagination. It is a great sensory toy as it is a soft and quiet toy. It is an ouchless" toy.
Sweet Ladybug would make an excellent Christmas, Birthday, or Baby Shower Gift.
Layout:
All of my patterns feature the same consistent layout which is easy to read and understand in US American terms. It is easy to find all the information you need to make this project. It lists materials, gauge, size, pattern key, any special stitches, notes, and then the pattern instructions and assembly. The pattern includes photo tutorials throughout the pattern.
Experience Level: Advanced Beginner
Size:
When you are finished, your cute lady bugs should measure approximately
Small: 6.5" x 5" x 4"
Large: 7" x 6" x 4.5"
Pattern Key:
SC - Single Crochet
Sc2tog - Single Crochet Decrease
Sl st - Slip Stitch
FO - Finish Off
St/sts - Stitch/Stitches
Ch - Chain
Rnd(s) - Round(s)
MC - Magic Circle
Notes:
Read through the entire pattern first.
All parts are done in continuous rounds except for Antennae & Spots. Do NOT join while making the Head, Body, and Legs. Use stitch markers to know where your first stitch in the round is.
Sl st does not count as a stitch throughout the pattern.
Repeat stitches between * and * around.
Alternative to MC - Ch 2; work number of SC specified in the 2nd chain from the hook.
To work the small ladybug, use E/4 3.5 mm hook. To work the large ladybug, use G/6 4.0 mm hook. One pattern but depending on the size of hook will determine the size of your ladybug.
