Description
This super cute teacup bookmark crochet pattern adds a cozy, cottagecore aesthetic to your reading!
The teacup is made like an amigurumi, and then a chain string and tassel are added to make it a bookmark.
There really is no gauge to this pattern, but the finished teacup is about 3/4 inch tall and the string is about 10 inches long. The string size is entirely customizable, so you can make it as long or short as you want.
This pattern requires knowledge of magic loops, chaining, slip stitches, and single crochet stitches. It is worked in continuous rounds. It is beginner-friendly, but working with crochet thread and small hooks can be difficult for beginners, so keep that in mind if you're new to using crochet thread.
You'll need a 2mm crochet hook and about 5 yards of tan size 10 crochet thread and 10 yards of off-white size 10 crochet thread. You'll also need a needle (I use a sharp embroidery needle, not a yarn needle) to weave the ends in, poly-fil or other stuffing to fill the teacup, and scissors.
Feel free to sell finished items made with this pattern as long as you credit me as the designer and link back to my shop :)
